Alternate reality

Alternate reality

There is some kind of melancholic beauty in believing there is more out of things, some alternate version of the reality that is shown in front of our eyes. Sometimes the circumstances don’t fit the parallel universe within our minds, and sometimes with daydreams we fill the emptiness in our hearts, the lack of closure… the unanswered questions.

We create a new reality, we give answers to the questions and this somehow heals our wounded souls, somehow it makes us smile again and believe just for a few minutes ‘yes, perhaps he loved me’. But then the 5 minute long song we use as the soundtrack of what we want to hear… of the reality we want to believe, is over… and reality pulls us back into the ground just like gravity… as inevitable as gravity.
